Fall is here, and so is a full lineup of workshops and networking events designed to help you grow your business, make meaningful connections, and celebrate the power of small business in our community. Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills, meet fellow entrepreneurs, or get inspired by expert speakers, there’s something for everyone this season.


🍂 Monday, September 15 – Hands-on AI Workshop

We’re kicking things off with digital marketing expert Sofie Andreou, who will show us how to put AI to work in practical, affordable ways. While the focus is on tourism and hospitality, the takeaways are valuable for businesses in any industry.

🌸 Wednesday, September 24 – Meet and Greet at Wingfield Inn and Gardens 

Our first networking event of the season takes us to the gorgeous Wingfield Inn and Gardens in Campbellford. Explore this countryside property while connecting with fellow Chamber members and local business owners. It’s the perfect way to recharge your business relationships.

Monday, September 29 – The Elevated ExperienceDaniel Lewis

International keynote speaker Daniel Lewis joins us to share how to take your customer service—and your team—to the next level. Expect an inspiring, high-energy session that will leave you motivated to bring fresh ideas back to your business.

This week is all about celebrating the entrepreneurs who make our community thrive. From shop local promotions to special events, Small Business Week is a time to support, recognize, and cheer on the small businesses that keep Trent Hills strong.

🤖 Monday, October 27 – Chatbots: The Key to Efficient Staff Training, Customer Support and Upselling

We’ll close out the fall series with another hands-on workshop from Sofie Andreou, this time focused on how chatbots can save time, improve customer experiences, and even boost your sales.

RTO8’s inaugural Regional Tourism Summit is taking root this fall: Stronger Together: Shaping the Future of Rural Tourism. Visitor-facing businesses in accommodation, food and beverage, retail, attractions, festivals and events, guiding, and agritourism located in Northumberland County, Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough County, and the City of Peterborough are invited to join us for a day of insight, inspiration, and collaboration.
